    Hey

Ive bought myself a new clutch for my 96' VTS

I am thinking about replacing it myself but that is effort.

Is there anybody here that is experianced/ have knowledge on changing them?

PM me with your experiance and how many beers you want for doing it!
If cheap enough, il step back and keep in the warm and give someone oppourtunity to earn some cash. otherwise I will do it myself...
    Im near Lakeside shopping centre.

+1, i would NEVER reccommend Mr Clutch. I know i shouldnt put out bad words about other businesses, but to be fair it's all i hear about Mr Clutch.

Their prices may be cheap, but the parts they use are of a very low quality. It's false economy.

but kris, surely you know that every car that has a clutch fitted at that place needs the flywheel skimming? and how do you prove its been done or not, take the box out and check lol. like you, i don't like slating other firms but when they give the rest of the trade such a bad name then they deserve it

Lol, i have never ever had a flywheel skimmed unless it needed it from rivet damage on the friction plate. Even then, this is very bloody rare, most cars are rendered 'undriveable' before they reach the point of needing a flywheel skim.
