help on alloys please comment

   i have a saxo 1.1 forte all standares with standared 13 inch wheels with 165 tyres on it i was wandering if i bought some 14inch alloys with 185 tyres on and a offset of 38 and rim width of 6j will they go straight on or will i need to door work on my arches.

   If the offset is 38 you'll need to buy 20mm spacers, preferably hub centric. I assume the alloys are ford fitment?

   oh right will they stick out of the arches be wider than te car

   Nope, as the offset is higher, you'll need the 20mm spacers to bring it back into line with where the standard offset (15-18) would be, so it would be sitting at the standard position.
