PM KrisB (see his post above)

The prices will be more expensive as this thread was over two years ago but he has a good reputation.

I would prefer to to get someone who has insurance and can offer some kind of warranty on the labour itself then some random guy on a driveway....

Greyjasper. May I suggest you attain permission from Simo (the forum owner) and speak with him with regards to being a paid affiliate member if you wish to advertise here like me.

Come to me people, don't bother with the people who think it's cool to work on peoples cars on driveways without any liability insurance to fall back on should you have a problem.

And to anyone who'd like their torsion bar done it's £60 for just the torsion bar and an extra £30 to fit front springs.

Torsion bar is done the correct way and guaranteed to be done in less than an hour. Springs take an extra 45 mins.

Can supply apex springs/shocks on a next day basis at cost price.

If someone asks if someone can lower a car then people will reply if they can do so it's a fact of life.

It's a bit different than someone starting a thread offering themselves out.

and as youve brought up reputable garages and insurance, my dad owns his own garage and has everything youll need from puplic liability to trade car policy, i was only going to give the job to him, so as ryanp the super moderator has said i was doing nothing wrong as he asked and i replied, there is no harm in that, thats what forums are for...

So you're advertising a business on behalf of someone else? Pretty sure there's rules against that.

As said mate, you might get away with it once or twice but expect to have action taken if you persist on using the forum to advertise a/your business.

Nothin personal here, I'm sure you can understand this is frustrating when you pay £200 a year to advertise and people like yourself aren't.

Ryan... If you don't like people reporting advertising then why don't you give your position to someone else?? I'm sure that's what the report button is for and I'm sure that's what these 'moderaters' are for??
