Stock air feed

I was just wondering what it is that is so bad about the air feed that comes standard on the vtr and does replacing really make that big a difference?

I have left mine, havn't had a problem with it and does the same job as anything really. It's just that the plastic acts as a "heat sink" but if your that worried you can buy thermo wrap stuff to cable tie onto it to reflect the heat
