New Grill

    I just bought a new grill and I need to paint it the colour of my car.

    I know I need to get Primer, Colour & Lacker.

    The colour of my car is Posi blue, just wondering where I can buy decent spray cans? and are the any guides on how todo it.

    Halfords all the way! They do a 500ml can for £6. Expensive as spray paint go, but its an exact match (or at least mine was).

    They also do the primer and lacquer, but you can pick there us a lot cheaper on ebay. Its all about how long you can wait!

    i got mine made up with the colour code off the car and its spot on!

    haven't found a paint to match my posi blue but halfords rattle is close enough just a shade darker.

    Wilcos if you have one near you. They do actuall citroen colours.

    Go to your local motorfactors, they will sell every thing you need...

    wilcos or halfords i use wilkos to do my old car and it looked alright

    Hmmm i think halfords suck at paint matches tbh

    but at the end of the day it all dpeends on the primer you use and how many coats are applyed

    if you really want to match it up you need to do a tester card

    do 1 coat then 2 then 3 and maybe 4, write which one is which and see which matches the best then do that number of coats

    i get mine from a1autowise, grest place and match is second to none, they use holts, the spray nozzles are good on them too there the new ones that do a wide spray just like a pro air gun

    or type in your colour code into ebay and it comes up usually
