knocking noise and vibration when braking

   Hi there, i have a 1999 saxo vts at the mo i have this annoying knocking sound whilst the wheel is turning and i also get vibration when braking , since it started it has not got worse. any ideas????????????????

   I had somethin similar on my VTR mate - I was told the knocking whilst turning is the CV Joint.

   Oh and the vibration when braking - sounds like your pads are running very low

   vibration when braking will be warped disks. Knocking noise when turning is usually a driveshaft cv joint failing.
