What mods can I give my VTR that look ace - but wont break the bank??

  1. #1
Ive had my VTR (Mk 1) for 6 months now... Tried to modify it, but am on a REALLY tight budget..

Heres what Ive got so far... ( Will try and get some photos on here soon )

Black Rear Lexus Lights ( My VTR is Black, so I think they look nice )
Mesh Grill ( Crap DIY attempt TBH, but looks OK from distance )
Backbox ( Big, but doesnt sound all that... )
Tinted Rear Windscreen ( Already done when I brought car )

And thats it. What other mods can I get that are cheap and effective?? Id love to get it lowered, but cant afford that...

    Cheers

Dont no if they are the cheapest but kam racing do good induction kits. Best for looks imo has gota be the raceland. Not too expsenive either.

Agree with this, Raceland with the green filter is £85 including VAT. Look awsome, perform good, sound better than standard. Overall a good kit for the money

    ............ keep it standard ?
  10. #10
    Standard is nice... but boring.

Had a look at Raceland - looks and sounds cool. Sounds easy to do aswell. £85 is a decent price aswell - though a bit out of my league at the mo. Def something to save for though...

dont spray rear badges black, just t-cut them, takes alot of rubbing but looks belting when done.

Spraying is a lot easier IMO. Clip them off - 2 coats of matt black - clip back on - Sorted

And why have you made a identical thread in the Styling and Interior section?
  13. #13
Coz Im an ass - I put in here then realised straight after that it was in the wrong section. So I put it in the right section and intended to 'delete' it from this one... but didnt know how to, or even if I could...

Not if you already have the paint

And mine took about 4 minutes, hardly time consuming lol
