Lowering tips...

Ive got a VTR and standard 14'' VTR wheels. I want to get it lowered, but thats not gunna happen for some time due to finances ( or lack of ), so in the meantime, I wanna find out what size springs I need??

I know very little about cars, mechanics, and all that jazz. I know theres different sizes, like 40mm and 60mm etc, but what would be best for the front and back? Do you do the same on front and back, or do the back lower than the front? What make is the best??

And whats the best I can get for the lowest price??

    Springs cost around £50

If you want best for handling etc id go for 40mm max

    For looks 50-60mm

The back of a saxo is a torsion bar, so you don't need to buy springs.

I would recommend uprated dampers on the front for lower than 40mm, but tbh i'd uprate them anyway

Im 55mm at the front on koni adjustables
Around 70mm (I will be raising in the summer) at the back on Bilstein B8's

This gives a nice firm road grip and is excellent around the corners

You could uprate the torsion bars, ARBs and all bushes for better handling aswell

Hmmm bit far then... Just a heads up Lee and Willsy fit springs and lower torsion bar (the proper way and they never give up) for £100. Bargain tbf, and they're both cracking lads. Good laugh like.
