Griffiths Engineering - quickshift?

   helo fellow's , just taking a ganders at the quickshift for the saxo on their site , never seen that before what is it? i though quickshift was the kit that shortened your gear stick and has a better ball joint this is a engineered piece of metal what is it for?

   There are different types, the one your on about fits on to the linkage of the gear box.

   i had 1 of them fitted to my vtr, made quite alot of difference to the throw

   got one of these on my car peice off piss to fit and a bargin price too
   made a bid dif in the throw of the gear stick

   The griffiths one for £20 is awsome for the price, the biggest difference in front to back, but it just add's to the general drivability of the car

   so let me get this straight does this sit where the gear linkage thing is thus shortening that ? what sort of difference does it make ?

   Cant really explain where it sits mate, best have a search on here for a guide and it will show you with pics.
   
   And it means you have to move the gear stick less, so from 1st to 2nd instead of lets say 4" movement it would be 2" (Random figures btw)
   
   It's the best modification out there for £20, well worth getting as i said it increases the general feel and drivability of the car

    can u use these along side the other quick shift?

    If you wanted. You could use the gear knob and stick from another and this as the actual linkage.

    i have the griffiths one, one of the best mods out there for the money imo
    
    you will recieve a little guide with it and im sure there is another on here somewhere

    The griffiths one is similar to the BakerBM one we sell. It extends the L bracket to shorten the throw.
