Immobiliser pickup ring

   Need some advise. I'm doing a conversion on my vtr to a vts and i have the keys from the donor vts engine, the ecu, and the black immobiliser box but i'm missing the vts Immobiliser pickup ring that goes around the vts barrel can i use my vtr one or is it coded with vts the ecu. What are my options if i cannot use the vtr Immobiliser pickup ring. Thanks

   i thought all pickup rings were universal i dropped a new vts lump in my vts and used the old pick up ring......cant see a vtr one being any different.

   nope there all the same.
   
   i broke mine during my vts conversion, got one off a 1.1 and worked fine
