rear carpet ??

    hi people

    I just took out my rear bench and was wondering if anybody has put carpet wher the seats used to be to cover the bare metal ??

    Its not uncommon for people to put a thin layer of MDF down covered in carpet.

    Its what i did with a previous saxo:



    If i was to do it again i would do it all in 1 big piece of MDF and make brackets to bolt it to where the verticle rear bench part bolts to.

    is it just a case of making a template and then cutting the wood ??

    paul is the first pic at the front also mdf or have you just folded the material down behind the front seats?

    Both mdf.

    With the boot floor there is a piece of carpet down as standard so you can use that as your template to cut your mdf around.

    The front bit where the benches are requires taking measurements, trail and error fitting, sanding down etc.
