yellow headlight bulbs

    does anyone know what i can get yellow headlight bulbs to fit my 1.1 saxo mk1? i saw them on a badly modified car abroad and thought it looked good and different, and are they illigal?

    they'll say the usuall " you do realise these bulbs are ilegal to have on display and are not suitable for road use " even tho they will fit them to your headlights if you ask them!!

    haha, i didnt know they would do that, i wouldnt bother wasting money on getting them to fit em, they wanted 40 quid to fitmy sub/amp, it took me 20mins at a max to do it, haha, i do hate them sometimes! especially the adverts!

    they told my mate £45 to fit a new head unit!!

    yh my mate done that , his dad is a rich bastard so he got it fitted by them as they then give it a year more gaurentee, we had to take it out when his dad brought it back cos the radio didnt work they never plugged the radio antenna in!

    The yellow bulbs are the ones that supposedly make it easier to see in bad weather, they come in a green box and the bulb looks like it's multi-coloured, sort of oily.

    try ebay i just got at set of head light bulbs for £2.50, instead of paying the usual £20.00 from halfrauds. my mate run yellow bulbs and he got a ticket for having them, however he had covered his bonnet in porn so not too sure if that was the reason why...?

    the only two colours allowed to be projected out of a headlight(apart from new xenon) are white and yellow apparently as said above they make it easier to see in bad/poor conditions
