vtr/s bodykit on 1.1?

    basically i cant afford the insurance on a new car, as i had sum numpty scam my insurance company outa money, so i was looking into putting a vtr/s kit onto my 1.1.... is this a good idea and how easy is it to do?

    i think its fairly easy mate unless you have the square arch saxo ? other than that i think its fit for fit

    Pretty easy job, tiger seal all the way. Mite be worth getting a body shop to do it especially if you need it respraying.

    Should be straight bolt on as far as I'm aware but unless you have the kit sprayed in the right colour already then let a bodyshop put it on and bond it properly as my mate bodged a titan bodykit on his car and sprayed it himself and it looks a bag of w**k lmao
    However if I was you I would buy a Furio, VTR or VTS as they have the kit on already and there quicker than a 1.1 by miles lol

    cut arch


    drill extra holes


    bingo!


    its not a hard job. but you will want to get it right

    are the arches attached to the side skirts or are they a seperate job?

    how many parts is the kit in? obviously front an back bumpers... are skirts an arches attached?

    obviously bumpers are just a swap over jobby but what happens with arches an skirts?

    you can clip them on or tiger seal them!! i tiger sealed Mr Houstons vt kit on his twotone he had,last year...........

    any other takers to do a quote on my pictures

    i have another car in for conversion on saturday. i will take pictures of the skirts too.
