VTR Front Bumper

   Hey guys..
   
   Sorry for the stupid/noob question.. but.. is a mk1 vtr front bumper straight fit on to a mk2? I need a new bumper and found one to buy but its from a 1996 mk1 and I have a 2001 mk2. Cheers.

   i think all parts to a vt kit are std mate

   Yeh, thats what I thought. So the mk1 bumper is the same as the mk2? cheers for the replies!

    alrite boys no there not!!!!!! the parts that you connect the bumper to the cars are completley diffrent i did it this morning on some information that i was told on here and i wasted £45 and im gutted! you cant change the clips over either! i have a MK2 2000 and i bought a MK1 1997 front bumper and it doesent fit in anyway shape or form

    VTR Dave you seem to be the only one with first hand experience. Do you know if the rear bumpers and tailgate are a straight fit from the mk2 vtr to the mk1 vtr and vice versa?

    the tailgate wud fit i think but the rear lights are different

    The whole VT kit is the same mate, if your having problems fitting it may be because its not a genuine part. The rear of the car is the same, its the front end, wings and slam panel that is different.

    i have a mk2 2000 i got a bumper off a 97 westcoast, fitted perfectly

    really it must have been a copy bumper then now that has pissed me off lol lucky i got my money back,and no sorry mate i havent done any of that,ive only had my saxo a month and my mate crashed it E.G is the reason why i need a new front bumper lol i havent had a saxo before ive only had a punto sorry mate!
