4-2-1 are better than a 4-1. Other than that i'm not really sure...

If you can stretch to a little more then get the Supersprint or the Piper

What other mods have you got? In most cases a 4-2-1 is best but on some higher tuned engines then a 4-1 would be better.

There isn't any discount for sax-p on them just now, but there could be in the future, it's impossible to say really.

It's £30 more for the VTS one, the 8v ones are £330 and the 16v ones are £360

4-2-1 supersprint IMO, but they cost a fair few £££

A lot of people go for the raceland/janspeed manifold, as there half the price of the supersprint one's

Only down side of the raceland is that there sometime a shit fit...

the gmc ones are also very good and also now in stainless. Not to sure if there in your budget tho.

steer away from the janspeed 16v manifolds. they sit too low.

Have a search around mate, i picked up a nearly new supersprint for my VTS £220 posted. There are bargains to be had. The raceland dont seem to be too bad either, but as already said there can be issues with the fit on them.

4-1 is best suited to TBd, or engines with forced induction.

With just a few breathing mods and non-wild cams then a 4-2-1 is better really as it puts the extra power in the midrange where you would use it more. But if you had wild cams that put the power higher up in the rev range then a 4-1 would be more beneficial.

I would have a 4-2-1 regardless for the extra power lower end before the cams properly kicked in

hi with the exhausts does anyone know which manifolds sit the highest ? because im looking at a new manifold because my one at the moment has hit the floor and is now damaged. Therefore i am after one that sits higher. So i am after peoples pictures or maybe thoughts about how high they are from the ground ! thanks

Can't fault the raceland one tbh, was only a little bit of a pain to fit due to 2 of the bolt locations being a bit fiddly, also they are stainless so wont rust

The supersprint ones i have heard a few people having issues with them blowing as they are in two parts, this can be remedied by having some welding done but i wouldn't expect to have to do thins with an expensive manifold

yeah as above ive got a raceland on my vts it fitted quite easy and sits well clear of the ground the only issue about fitting was the way its designed theres a certain bolt you have to tighten first or it will be an arse to get to.
in all im happy with it, it sounds good and made noticable power gains theres a thread on here selling them direct from the manufacturer i thinkg i got mine for less than £140 or so

i had a raceland on my old 16v xsi. felt like it lost power all over with it on.
