Did a search, but couldnt find anything conclusive, infact i got some contradictory results, so its just easy to ask again i feel.
Firstly, I Bought my car with a QE Quickshift on. (1.4 Westcoast)
Recently the gearbox went and as i was low on funds, i used the gearbox from the old sax which was a 1.1.
The gearbox itself is fine and the quickshift does work well.
I was just wondering what effect, if any, getting some uprated gearlinkages from Kam would have on the mix?
Iv read that they firm up gear changes and make gear changes feel smoother, and then from the other side, you wont feel a difference unless your gear linkages are worn and nothing is really better than OE anyway.
So, can anyone give me a clear answer as to is it worth paying £40ish for some uprate gear linkages to use with my GE Quickshift?
