£10 (Which back in the day was around 10L) in my 1.1 used to get me 100 miles.

In a VTR i'd say something simular
  3. #3
130 - 150 miles with mixed driving I would find.

well im a new driver so i aint gotta clue abou ho-w good fuel is in cars like
when i had my bike it was amazing on fuel :L

so is 100-150 miles good for £15?

All depends on the price of fuel, but I'm pretty sure 150 miles to £15 is roughly 40+ MPG.
  6. #6
£15 is more like 12 Litres though

Although i could do around 350 miles in my 1.1 from brim to empty!

That was town driving, motorways, short trips and flooring it here and there.

I go to wales like every month to see my dad and he lives in the middle in Llandovery. I put in about 43 ish and it will fill it up from empty. (or however much more i need to make a full tank up. Used to do the trip in my 1.1 and it could get back to southampton which is about nearly 200 miles a bit less just under half a tank. And the VTR did exactly the same even with a few blasts now and then completly within the speed limits like acceleration and stuff. So in my opinion VTR's and very good on fuel, was worried i would be paying out a bomb.

VTR's are good on fuel. Due to a bigger engine for the motorways.

Sticking a 1.1 gear box into a VTR, you'd then notice the difference in acceleration then

    120-140 miles @ 45.5 mpg.

realistically being a new driver and the fact you'll probably not drive very far from home you get about half that.

my vtr usually gets around 300 miles to a full tank, mixed driving. however on a good long motorway run i've had 400
  13. #13
    70-80 miles to a tenner. 100k vts
  14. #14
I usually do around 300 miles to about 35 litres in my VTR works out at 39mpg
At the worst I get 250 to 35 litres which is 32.5mpg

hi mate, in my fairly tuned VTR i do about 150 miles a week (3 journeys from work at constant speed) and back and some other driving (hard driving) i like to drive quite quick and accelerate pretty hard and usually it will cost about £20-23 depending on the price of fuel. i usually average 28-35 mpg as well
