Cleaning Breake Discs And Surrounds

   Helooo, just fitted some tsw alloys in place of my standard vtr's and it leaves the whole brake section on show. Obviously i will be painting calipers but how do i clean the rust of the surround of the disc and the centre section safely?

   Best thing to do is to just buy some brake disk cleaner mate, can get it from most places.
   
   Just spray it on let it work its magic and wipe it off. Clean disks

   I use wire brush on electric drill.............

   I normaly let the green pads clean the disks up,never use old disks,always fit brand new ones...........

   My car sat still for a couple of weeks and the disks had surface rust on, because i didnt drive it i cleaned the surface rust off.

    vtr brakes? arnt they the same as furio? discs and drums?
    
    vts are discs all round

    nice lol. I cant decide which ones to get or whether just to get some ebc green stuff pads. I dont want to make any modifications, just a straight swap if you know what i mean

    1.5 or less uses disc front drums rear

    vtr and vts brake setups are exactly the same
    If you want a brake upgrade look at some 266mm or 283mm calipers off a 306 or 206
    
    as for cleaning brake cleaner and wire brush in a drill
