Nackered saxo HELP

   My 99 westcoast broke down about 3 and a half-4 months ago with a suspected dodgy coil pack. Since then ive had a new coil pack fitted, crankhandle sensor etc. and it still cuts out whenever it feels like it. Nothing shows up in diagnostics and even auto electricians are baffled. Has anyone had a similiar problem or has anyone got any advice? Its fine sometimes for weeks then it will just break down again. It now sounds dodgy when i start it as if the timing is out or something. HELP!

   try the stepper motor aka idle speed motor

   I will, the revs also go up and down sometimes when i put my clutch down to come to a stop and my dashboard lights dim if that gives any more of an idea.

   alternator?
