Exhaust Fitting

   What is actually the difference in fitting an exhaust to a 1.0 than a 1.1 or a 1.1 to a 1.4 etc?

   not to sure mate but i wouldnt imagine it would be much different. it'd be just as easy to fit, aslong as you have the adaptor pieces

   just wondering as i only have a wee 1.0i and wondering if i buy one and have it fitted it would fit a furio when i buy one latter this year or early next year...

   im not sure whether the exhaust systems vary atall, the best way to find that out is to check out a car parts supplier or your main dealer to see if the standard exhausts are any different. The main difference is that the furio has the same tail pipe as vtr/vts but the connections to the centre pipe are different.

   im pritty sure the back boxes are different on the 1.0 and 1.1's to the rest of the engines because theres no cut out in the bumper for the tale pipe to come through if you get me???

   same on the 1.1 me thinks only 1.4, VTR/S have the hole/thing cut out.

   yeh thats what i ment mate the 1.0 and 1.1 dont have holes, my little bro has a 1.1 and he had to mod his bumper to fit the aftermarket backbox.lol

   o i get you so you recon i could buy one then, then when i come to sell the car, back on the old exhaust and stick on a new tail pipe

   i think my bros was a universal back box but not sure how he fitted it because i wasnt there. i would buy one that is made for the car mate and save the hassle.

    try and find a back box that fits a 1.0 saxo tell me when you have.... other than the Le Mans Scorpion one o and the sportex full system

    depends on what you want mate, you would have to go and ask. you could buy a vtr/s then theres loads of choice

    im paying £800 atm on 3rd party on a 1.0 on my mums insurance!! so VTR/S is out of the picture going to get Furio end of the year or so, will be £900 on fully comp on my mums insurance so going to so that
