Pics and Opinions Needed

  1. #1
    Hi Guys,

    I'll start with this:

I know I will probably be raped for making this thread, but I dont fancy sifting through people's progress threads 24/7.

But the time has come for me to lower the car.... the following is only temporary until later this year/next year when I get the Billies.

But I'm after pics and opinions on both the SPAX 40mm kit and also the Apex 50mm kit.

Please can you provide pics of you car lowered only on these kits and also only on 15" wheels.

    Gracias

EDIT: Oh and I know I'm a n00b and made it in the complete wrong section iFail....

lowered 40mm on spax psx kit mate.. i would look into that or are you still getting billies.. the psx for the money is a good kit i got mine for 180.. brand new with adjustable front and rear shock and 40mm springs

i think it sits prefect.. handles good to

I will be buying either one of these kits for use in the mean time whilst I get a lot of other stuff sorted. The Billies won't be till late this year/next year....

What's the ride like on the above aswell?

mate its a good ride where is adjustable aswell you can set it hard for track soft for the road win win... yeh mine will be coming off in the summer for a decent set up

but for the money i would go spax mate

    Nice get some better alloys

SPAX are usually a good brand - Our MGF VVC at home has adjustable Spax shock absorbers and they transform the ride no end but we had lowering pins and poly bushes fitted at the same time so that also helped

    50mm Apex mate

mate personally going buy the looks of the kit i would go spax... apex kits looks cheaper than the spax kit... i went through the same decision and i well happy with my spax kit no bangs or anything and being able to adjust them is always a winner

They do sound good but tbh it is only going to be a temporary measure like I said until the Billies later in the year.

And I definitely wouldn't adjust them after there on so would be likely to get the no-adjustable kit.

Do want some pics of 50mm though...
