    also what are they called??
  2. #2
do you mean the gas struts that are on your boot
  3. #3
Do you mean the bonnet raisers?

Yes they would probably work if you weld them on, pretty sure you only need one to lift the bonnet

not actually made the brackets yet but im hoping to do that bolt them through if that will work
  23. #23
Could you not just buy the brackets from peugeot and weld em on?
  24. #24
i was thinkin about putting a bolt in like u have but making a bracket to weld over the top at the bottom but leave loose enough to still fold down and mayb just weld the top the same if u get that
    u think that would work?

Call up peugeot and ask em if "7120 T8" is the right part, dunno about the connecting to the bonnet tho, i think that part is fixed on the skin
  27. #27
where did u get that code from mate and when your bonnet closes does your bit on the bonnet move or isit just the bottom bit that folds down?

I got the code from servicebox.
Each end of where the struts connect to the car are fixed solid, just the strut compresses, like your boot one
  29. #29
oh right so if i got a bolt comin out the end of the strut and just got the bolt welded to the car and the bonnet it would work like then then?? or will it need to move to open up the bonnet
  30. #30
As i said, each point of contact with the car from the strut is fixed, no movement other than just twisty style
  31. #31
hmm so i need to get a ball joint thing made so it would work i guess
thanks might give it a go!!
