   dodgy - but surely that can happen to any tyre - just looks like a underneath cord/canvas failure?

   can happy to any tyre . . . i see it daily, on anything from silly budgets to top of the range, from admirals to pz neros! Good years F1...
   
   its rubber. it happens.
   although if there is no damage to the tyre, and that has formed itself, contact manafacture and get free pairs.
   they all do it.
