magnex exhaust keeps blowing!

i have a magnex single box system, de-cat and manifold, the de-cat to system joint/clamp is always blowing, ive had it changed by kwikfit about 5times since i got it. any ideas? is there anything i can wrap around it once a new clamp is fitted? lol

Is it catching on anything? Or is there a bit of play in the system?

try some fire paste between the joints maybe...if u dont wanna seperate it in a hurry!

or is the engine moving to much when you give it lord ie eng or g.box mounts weak?

not to sure, everything seems ok, ive tried everything

i gave it some the other day chasing my mate from work in his st220 mondeo, got home and she was blowing

went to kwikfit and the kid put a new clamp on, but its blowing again LOL

everything seems tight and no movement, seems like she drinks the petrol faster we shes blowing

its the metal mesh gasket thats on your manifold that attatches to the cat or decat as you may call it, mine was blowin for ages and tried everything, til i was told it were this changed it and its fine now.

Have a look at your Gearbox mounting to see if it has play in it if it has every time you put your foot down it will pull on te exhaust system and pull it apart i have the same problem at the mo.
