Starting Clock Fault?

   When i start my car when it is cold and has been standing for a while, the clock on the dash resets itself to 1:00 and the trip meter starts displaying, which i never have displaying.
   Recently had alternator and battery replaced.... I believe it is something to do with this still.... not charging battery or battery draining when standing.... so not enough power to keep clock computer correct!
   
   Any answers would b great??

   If you put your heater blowers on to max does it also reset the clock?
   
   Had same problem as yourself, check the earths, mines sorted now, loose connection under dash on piller
