What sort of milage should i expect from toyo proxeys on the front.
Just got 4k and down to wear strips
  2. #2
ALL Depends on how you drive mate
  3. #3
how longs a peice of string. obviously f you drive like you've stolen her not very long but if you a carefully driver quite a while. people rate them highly so would recon you'll get a good few miles out of them
  4. #4
As above depends how you drive, tyre pressures over their lifetime, what roads you drive on, what car, how the car is etc.

They generally dont last great though.

I got 16k on the back of my TVR out of T1-R's and 24k so far out of the fronts.

Your car is either fucked (camber or toe) or you drive like a chav in a maccy d's car park.

4k from them bloody hell you either have some serious geomety problems or you drive like a loon.

mine have been on for 5k and about half worn if that on the front and still loads left in the rears.

I got just over 15k out of the T1-r's on the front of mine.

geometry is ok and tyres have worn even across there width so just wondering are they a very soft compound. car had done 15k on original michelins before switching to the toyo's
  16. #16
15k from michelins my god you drive like an idiot.
i still had the original michelins on the rear of mine 64k later.
sayer had 60k+iirc out of his and they did a trackday.
on the front toyos should last 15k easy even with some spirited driving and michelins even longer.
you must do many a traffic light gp. and corner very hard.

calm down and maybe your tyres will last

When I had proxes px4's on my VTR I got 16k out of a full set but that was with very hard cornering...

My VTS still has the original tyres on the back wheels and its on 74k, still about 5mm apparently!

WTF!? Original tyres 70k+ later. Thats mad.
