How Do You replace the back break pads and discs?

   Right, i have looked on the forums and cant seem to find out how to remove the back break pads and discs. ive got mintex MDB2868 for my VTR mk2 which i am quite sure is the right ones and came with MDC794 discs. could someone please help me!?!?!?
   
   Also if anyone knows how to tighten the handbreak cable as that is another problem which has occured to my saxo.

   just remember the pistons wind it and not push in, wire brush the caliper espeically where the slider pins go in, pretty easy job tbh

   ah ok. thanks. any on how to tighten the handbreak? im sure its just loosened compleyelly as when it is fully on the wheels take a while to lock but still lock with the handbreak at its highest point. this wouldnt happen if the cable had snapped would it?

   13mm nut iirc under the rear exhaust shields, undo the handbrake when doing it , chock the wheels up and and axle stands
   
   tighten the nut, then check the handbrake, 2 - 3 clicks for a decent handbrake

   ah ok. perfect. thanks a lot for all the help. will keep you updated on how im getting on. i am gonna wait for the snow to go before i do any of this though as jacking up the car on ice

   When you fit the pads make sure you wire brush the groove they sit in and apply a small amount of copper slip grease
