    How do you do it?

How much knowledge of cars do you have?

I suggest putting it into a garage unless you have a good selection of tools, and a decent amount of time, you need an extra pair of hands too

as above, unless you know what you are doing i wouldnt try tackling a torsion bar

I'll lower it all round for £70 till the end of the month. you need to supply the front springs. I also do it the right way too

best thing to do mate you buy the springs then take it to garage that mite cost i dont no.
or buy struts with lowing spring on them and a rear beam lowed and fit yourself "if you what your doing" that what im doing but not doing the rear ill let some 1 else do it!

most garage do not know how to lower torsion bars. They just damage the beams. Krisb is your best bet tbh. You wont find a better job or cheaper
  12. #12
ye alot of garages wont touch torsion bars and if they do would just do it the quick way of wacking of the trailing arms and fuck up the beam.

i was thinking of getting mine done my torsion £50. my springs £50. and my front springs fitted 30 pound by a small garage. could get it done at a bigger garage for 120 just for the torsion bar done but dont want a cowboy job thats all.

Willsy and Lee also do lowering, They're based in Nuneaton. Do front and rear for £100 if you supply springs. Top lads too! Managed to do my torsion bar after 3 garages tried and failed!

    Cheers Davo

To be fair we've lowered quite a few cars now where previous garages and people off here have tried and failed miserably, and we've managed to get the job done

Glad you're still enjoying yours mate
