Important! : bearing question

  1. #1
I have managed to locate a pas pump for £60 and now im needing to do my clutch release bearing but the only one I can find is for a 1.1i although it does say that it will also fit a 1.6 xantia/xsara, I just need to know if it will fit my vts, I dont see a problem as all boxes/parts are interchangeable throughout the saxo range but I dont know as much as you guys do, if anyone could help i'd be very grateful.
    Thanks Nik

    1.1 clutches are 180mm , vtr/s clutches are 200mm

release bearing wise I can imagine they are the same but should get one with a vts clutch kit.

Have a look on www.106parts.com . Make sure you get the right stud pattern on clutch to match your flywheel.

as above and if you need to do the release bearing you need the box off so its basically very stupid not to do the clutch while its off as its a ball ache.... hence why bearins arent so easy to find... other then this decent motor factors or andrew page /euro car parts will get you the one you need
