    Hi,

I need to top up my gearbox oil but I am unsure of what grade to use. Is there any chance of getting a bit of advice?

    Thanks

beat me, could be clutch or wear and tear but try dropping the oil and renewing first then move from there(dont just top up as it should be full and new oil will benfit alot more then a top up), often gets worse in cold weather, ill imagine your car if fair to select gears when been driving a while? if not you may have bigger probs

Thanks for the help. I will try renewing the oil first and see how it goes from there. Cheers

i want to renew mine, is it similar to an engine oil change, as in remove the drain plug on the gear box then where do i fill it back up to and how much will it take?? how will i know its the right level once refilled.. Thats one thing ive never done is change the gearbox oil on a car!!!!
