harness + seat belt

    is any1 using harness's aswell as still keeping the origonal seat belts, want some harness's in the car, but ocasssionaly use my car with the kids so need to be eble to put the car seats in the bk, so want a way i can quickly remove the harness and use the old seat belt if that makes sense, any1 do this??

    Generally most harnesses can only safely be used on a proper safety seat with reinforced slots to feed the belt through that are secured on hard mounts of the floor at the rear of the car. Or can fit with most seats if you have a role cage with shoulder high belt bar. Both tend to make it very difficult to safely fit people in the back. You do see the odd person using them with regular seats and just screwed in the rear belt mounts but this is not recommended. If you did do that you could still have the stock belts in place and just get the kids to sit on the harnesses when there in the back. But again that is really not recommended.

    do you mean both for front seats? i have both mate its fine you just need to take the old unit where you clip the seat belt into from the old front seats and bolt it to the bucket seats its perfectly safe
