clunking noise.?

   when i steer left to right theirs a loud " clunk" coming from the engine bay. ive been told so many things of what it could be.
   
   *track rodend
   *steering rack
   *springs moving
   *ball joints
   
   but ive just had a new o/s wishbone because their was play in it and the ball joint kept poping out still no change.

   i had the same problem was told it was the suspension had it changed and it stopped think it was the shocks :Y: was when i turned past a certain bit when steering. take it the pug garage in attleborough industrial estate if it's the same as mine mark there told me it's fine unless it's annoying u cuz their pug 106 has been doing it 4 3years and they havn't changed theirs.

   Knackered drop links are common problem
   Top mount bearings are also common
   Track rod ends are unlikely to make as much noise as you mention
   
   If it does it when you're stationary then it wont be wishbones or dampers
   
   Badly seated spring could be the cause.

   took mine for an mot 2day smila it passed but gotta have the pin bearing changed on both radius arms of the suspension on the back , i can't actually believe iv spent nearly £700 on it when i need at least £300 now for this so im told, gutted!.Luckily i don't need it done yet tho as it's just an advisory so iv got time to save cuz i want my new alloys on, im glad it passed tho or i would have been in the i wanna get rid of it mood again!.lol.x.

   wahayyyyy =D glad it passed lol but mines still not runneing right =( its going to the peugot ppl down attlebrough.. wounder how much thats gonna cost me =S are thay cheap down their...
