The nfx... number on the cambelt cover might be the engine number that's printed on the V5?

    TU5J4 is the VTS engine.

nfx is the engine type denoted within the chassis number

ok thanks any way i can tell if it requires a 1 or 3 plug ecu? also are exhaust manifold studs and gaskets same as on westcoast ??

it's the loom that determines the number of Ecu plugs.

I dont know of a way to say whether the engine is a single plug or 3 plug buy looking at the engine itself. Only know about the coil pack plugs being different colours tbh.

exhaust manifolds are different between 8v and 16v.

3 plug VTS engine will have the EGR/ fresh air pump junk (providing it hasn't been removed). If it's been removed, you'll see two prongs on the front of the head where the EGR bracket would have been.

Studs and gaskets are different on 8V and 16V exhaust manis.

ahh ok kool will check that the studs are actually diffrent?? its missing some dunno were to get some really gmc do some there 20£ for full set hmm

Get them from Citroen parts desk - 20p each or something. I'm just assuming the studs are different - when I got some for my VTR i got black studs. VTS ones I got were silver.

right ok i see its worth an ask before i ruin a thread dunno bout the colour diff only reason i can think of is so they dont mix them up meaning they may be diffrent
