spraying/laquering

   okay recently sprayed my badge and surround anthacite, but its covered in stone chips. what can i do to prevent it chipping?
   
   i gave it about 5 full coats of laquer.
   hoping to find a solution as i want my mirrors done anthracite too..?

   you cant really avoid it. You need to use very high quality primer paint and laquer. Lots of laquer may help but i doubt it
