Manifolds

   So i have been looking for a manifold for my 1.4 vts out 2001.....funnily enough i dont really want to be forking out 400 quid for one.....so what i did was buy one from raceland......only......it would not fit!! I have been advised to buy one from supersprint or sebering.....is it worth the money?? And does it increase the horse power by much??

   was the raceland one you purchased for a vts as in our vts in the uk 1.6 16v? if so thats why it wouldnt fit you would need the uk vtr equivalent

   whats a 1.4 vts? 1.4 16v?

   no its just the westie/furio engine. On the continent some countries have vast differences in naming of the engines/models

   The one i bought was for a 1.4 VTS 8v, not sure what the equivelent is in the UK.
   
   Does it make a difference???

   It is a Mk 2 though......out 2001!!

   yes the vts in the uk is the 1.6 16v, it has a different manifold bolt pattern to the head, hence why your having bother.
   
   The equivalent in the uk would be the westcoast/furio(1.4 8v). It should have the same bolt pattern as our vtr (1.6 8v) so a vtr manifold should fit your car
