Need Help picking new alternator!

   Hi im new to this, i bought a saxo vts 1998 of my mate all it needs is a new alternator cos his 1 packed in and no longer has it anyways i can get my hands on a cheap second hand pug 106 gti 1997 alternator will this fit my vts and work if not which alternator do i need? Cheers

   Yes it will fit as its the same engine. Just check the terminals on the top of it.
