Speedo n rev counter not workin!!

   Got a saxo vtr with vts engine but the speedo and rev counter arent workin... Any ideas?????

   try disconnecting the battery for a bit, this fixed it for me on the two occasions it came back from the garage.

   tryed mate also put new sensor on gearbox...

   disconnect battery for ten mins , worked for me

   i have kinda the same problem, but my speedo was sat on 80mph and my rev and temp not working,i used this guide here to remove the dials http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...38#post2466438 i then manualy reset the speedo by hand, by just winding it back, and the speedos now working, the rev is now working to but it gets stuck so i think its the little motor that controls it thats siezed/died.so im probably just gona get a set of clocks from a breakers and just do the lot.there is a fuse for the rev counter though which also supplys other things,so if you have other electrics also not working it could be the fuse, might be worth checking.it is very easy to remove the dials though.
