   in halfords and other places you can buy stuff called nos or red x which says cleans all through engine and unblocks and removes dirt and that is it good stuff though and doeas it work

   injector cleaner is better that the octane additives for cleanin lol

   laod of bollocks imo, just stick a load of vpower in from your local shell garage

   ive heard mixed opinions on this, it can make your car run lumpy for a while apparently becasue it removes all the scale.

   Redex got a bad name years ago when engines were built with poor tolerances and badly tuned carburretors ran them overly rich, the redex would remove the coke build up inside the engines reducing compression due to blow by and making engines run worse.
   
   Modern engines run clean and have tighter tolerances. Redex in a Saxocan only help unless your on mega millage. Best thing it does is give the injetors a clean through and help restore a good spray pattern from them = more efficient combustion.

   Decent fuel does the same job, V-power for example
