Not sure what the link above shows as im not a paid member
Anyway I took a few pics when I changed mine when doing my driveshaft the other week.
>Jack the car up and make sure its level as this is essential for getting the correct reading of the oil level.
>remove passanger side front wheel
Unbolt the plastic inner wheel arch. Only really need to do the bolts that are on the edge facing you as you only need to bend it back enough so you can see the gearbox.
Should now be able to see the box
> find a container that fits under the car and can hold 2 litres. Then remove the 8mm sqaured headed drain bolt (got mine from halfords) allow all the old oil to drain out. Warning it smells horrible
>Once its fully drained re-tighten the bolt. Might want to give it a clean first to remove all the old crap from the bolt.
> I found its easier to fill the gearbox from the breather hole at the top. Remove your battery and tray from the engine bay to reveal the top of the box. Then pull of the plastic cover off thats over the hole. Should now look like so
> then pour two litres of box oil into here (75w-80 gearbox oil) my 1 litres bottles came with pull out spouts making it easy it not get a funnel
> head back to the wheel arch and locate the second drain plug further up the front side of the box then the origional one. Can see if in the picture with my brass tool resting in it
> remove this and oil should slowly trickle out. This means you have the correct level

if all is well pop if back in job done
