Will a 106 gti spoiler fit a 2001 mk2 VTR?

   Was looking at carbon fibre spoilers for 106 and wondered if they would go straight on a VTR?

   assuming the width of a vtr is tghe same as a vts yes it will but i would wait untill you get better confromation than just me mate

   A vtr is the same as vts but don't know whether they are same dimensions as GTI cheers though

   Quite sure 106/saxo boot lids are the same, you will have to make sure that they are the same size, as the GTi spoiler cups over the boot.

   Yep it can be made to fit.
   
   The standard GTI spoiler is made up of 2 parts that are bonded together. The bottom part needs to be removed completely as the saxo boot is thicker at the top than the 106 one
   
   Then the sides need to be trimmed down and then built back up again before finishing it off.
   
   As some rebuilding needs to be done you cant really do this with a carbon spoiler.
   
   It can be done with a normal GTI spoiler though with a bit of time and patience
