Ive got a mk2 vtr with the cat in the downpipe from the mani. But the downpipe has a crack in it further down, so need to change it.
but what im thinking is could i put a normal downpipe off a mk1 without a cat in it, so this would technically decat it, and also would any model (1.1/1.4/vtr/vts) fit?
or second option is would a downpipe with a cat off a similar mk2 but a 1.1/1.4 work? os is the internal diameter different, or not compatabtle cause of its designed with a cat for different car etc?
