When im accelerating i get to about 2100rpm and it kinds of sticks for a while like the cylinder isnt firing properly and then it kicks in, and im off.
Right thanks guys. Im changing the HT leads and spark plugs later this week. Hopefullly should need new coilpack. Ive just had timing belt replaced, could the timing being off effect this?

no mate doesnt whine at all. I got him to do my tappets aswell and now on idle it holds revs at about 1.2k. Its very wierd.

I've had this problem before, could be your lambda sensor.
it doesnt register the engine is up to temprature and keeps the automatic choke on which can cause the revs to stick.
Well thats what it was on my rover anyway, more than likely something else but dont count it out!

spark plugs mate .. happend to me not so long since .. just kangeroooooood like fuk at 2k for about 5 seconds then wa fine
I have kinda solved the problem. The garage left a pipe unpolugged. It came from under the driver side wing past ECu and into TB. What does this hose do?
Just order new spark plugs aswell
