ipod holder

   i have just been making a ipod holder( but for my n97 )
   
   were it plugs in at the head unit is on the front how would i go about hiding the wire or could i rewire it some how to plug it in at the back

   If it doesnt have an aux point at the back u will have to use the front, try taking the wire up and through the controls at the top of the center console and then down the back behind it

   i want least possible wire showing if not none at all cos i think looks crap wires every where

   have you put the ipod holder in the coin tray or glove box? and i dont think you can get away with hiding much of the wire if it comes out of the front mate.

   its in the coin tray is it possible to open up the headunit itself and wire it directly to the aux wire in stead of useing the plug in

   i have the small ipod nano .... and iv gt aux port on stereo ... i put wire from the front going underneath stereo and drivvled hole threw dash board wer the ash tray is and have ipod in the ash tray .... cz i obv dont use it and now hides ipod so no1 knows haha ..... randomly thort of it one morning not thinkin it wud work

    as for the question then just cut a bit out the bottom of the coin tray and put the wire through there, thats what i did

    yerr im going to do that but the aux is on the front so how can i hide the cable so theres not loads on show if not any

    Like mine? Drill hole, fit wire through plug with grommet and feed wire behind the headunit down to where my holder is So easy to do

    my brother had one of these he said he got annoyed with it as music quality isnt good and get interfearance

    Find a headphone lead with a 90 degree plug on the end. This will mean theres less sticking out and less mess. then you sould be able to run it through a panel gap or the switch blanks above the stereo.
