   Wt do u achieve from having a lower temperature thermostat

   Cooler running temp. But also means its more difficult for the engine to get upto temperature as the thermostat will be opening much earlier.
   
   Standard stats are perfectly fine for 95% of saxo in the world

   I rekkon mine runs with one as it runs really cool, I replaced it the other day and now it runs stAndard temp, so think I may put the cooler one back

   you don't want the car to run too cool - standard one is fine - I'd just leave it in.

    I think i might build a high spec 8v this year as nobody seems to want vtrs anymore

    I don't blame you it's easy and common to have 16v wiv bhp so think you should make a stupidly fast 8v

    depends what bits i have left in the garage. If i can find my rallye head and inlet might supercharge it using a cooper s charger which is sitting in the shed
