Exhaust Questions

Hi, looking to replace the exhaust on my car..

Not sure yet on what im wanting..

Im looking at a new Cat ((Mani-Cat) not the manifold itself) with the downpipe to the centre pipe and back box... simple enough swap as the one i currently have on is in tatters.

Orrrrr, i was looking at a 4-2-1 Manifold - Centre Pipe - Back box (Scorpion)

Wasnt sure if it was a change i could have due to my car having a lamba sensor... would a raceland 4-2-1 fit in?

raceland would fit you would need to relocate the oil filter (search) and also need to cap the second lambda sensor so the engine management light doesn't come on.

Which set up would be simpler then?

Im not fussed if i de-cat or not, just wonderd if it would be easier for the set up,

i was thinking new cat - race pipe - scorpion backbox..

Relocating the oil filter and capping the lambda sensor seems a bit of a un-neccasary fuss..

i would use normal cat/downpipe combo and get an exhaust. Thats cheapest and easiest

So replace cat and centre pipe with standard parts, but uprate backbox ?

Im not after any Gain i just need it replaced but want a louder backbox

back box and standard parts will see you well, i can supply you with a brand new centre pipe and cat for a very nice price. I will leave the backbox too you

Does the downpipe from the Cat have a flexy joint to the centre pipe?
