Glovebox Removal

    Is there any way to remove the inside part of the glovebox without removing the full dash?

    yer undo the bolts og the glovebox and pull it out the dash from the bottom

    i know that feeling.
    t20 torx bolt iirc then just wiggle it free from underneath

    On the mk1 (early 1`s)open the glovebox & at the top there are 2 rubber covers remove these & you`ll find 2 t20 torx screws remove these,at the base if I remember correctly theres 2 more +2 more right at the back underneath the dash.

    i had to unplug the wires that are held to the bottom of the dash to remove box as it just kept gwtting caught up

    why would u need to take the glove box out ? surely wont be saving that much weight.

    Its not to save weight but to try & sort out a rattle,says it at the top of thread.
