    Helloooo,

Not entirley sure if this is the right section but I was thinking when I come to refurb my wheels, once I have taken them backk to bare metal, is it needed to prime them?

    Thanks

yes if you dont it will just peel off
think of it as a glue its the stuff that sticks to the wheels and then allows the paint to stick

yes if your going to paint your wheels dont cut corners to save a few quid. You get out what you put in

i spent 8 week refubing my alloys... used a fair bit of paint but the results were amazing... take your time do you have a set of spare wheels to put on or is it something you need to get done in a weekend ???

Take your time and follow the guides on here and you will get a good result.

Cut corners they will end up looking crap and will not be a very lasting result

as said mate, take a few days to do them and make sure they are dry before putting them back on the car as any dirt will stick to the un-dried paint
