Would an alternator from any model work on a vtr? may be abit of a dumb question but just unsure lol.
Also are they easy to change?

Not from any model..I have a 1.1i and a 1.1i Desire, and those are both different.

i think there will be different amps for different models so it might be best going for a vtr one the same and then you cant go wrong

oh yeah and they are pretty straight forward to change im sure you wont have any problems just make sure the belts tight enough so it doesnt slip or make stupid whining noises. but not too tight

mk1 and mk2 are different (mk2 has a square plug), if you have a vtr you need a vtr or vts alternator iirc

i think they are only held in place with two bolts and then disconnect the wires

easy to change about 10 minutes and a vtr or vts one m8
