this year im planning on spending a bit more money on my engine. i am running ph3s at the moment but not too clued up on the bigger cams yet. im wanting to have hi comp pistons and rods/bolts so i can run much bigger cams. one thing i wanted to know, when you are running bigger cams say ph4 or ph5 what else do you need head wise to run these type of cams? thankyou

#2buy a vts and start again

#3PH4s will cope with a hydraulic valve clearance but the PH5s will need solid lifters and need shimming out to set the valve clearance. Rebated pistons (high compression) will be needed for both.

#4yer Ph4 I think is what toad running, i think he still has hydraulic followers,
but need abit of head work to get the best flow, maybe get a c2 head
