    dude read your pm

these are the new style makers tags and im one of the few who have items with them on at present.
they dont make the lines any better but they do look better than the old style

i recieved my lines many thanks mate. the loop and bolt part that fits to the caliper is diferent on the new lined to the old ones.. the old ones was just straight on. thats how its prob suposed to be but ill try fit them later today

now about the master cylinder.. i have been told on here to use a gti6 master cylinder when running these brakes to make them fell a bit better. is the master cylinder where the brake fluid bottle is? it has the fluis bottle then a bit underneath it?

MC is the bit that goes into the brake servo (bit black round thing on passenger side) and the bit the brake fluid resevoir sits on.

iirc VTR's have 4 port MC do they not? (4 lines coming out of the MC)

if so, i think gti6 are only 2 port. Therefore you'll need to source one that has 4 ports.

If yours is 2 port then make sure you get the right gti6 MC as i know someone how bought one which was supposidly from a gti6 but the ports for the brake lines were on the wrong side, which just makes more unneccesary work.

    hope that helps

    The lines will fit fine.
Some calipers have a cross over tube on them that uses a standerd male fitting.
This pipe can be removed and the lines you have fit direct to the caliper.

is the mc expensive? i was looking at this on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT )

ok i will double check how many ports mine has before i buy. if mine is a 4 port any ideas what i could do?

someone said my pedal might be stiff if i dont change this.

i have just read on another forum that the 406 hdi non abs mc would be best to use when doing the 4p0t brake conversion. it is a 4 port one so saves alot of trouble rather than fitting it to the gti6 2 port. if that is any halp to anyone.

i will be trying one out at the end of this month

Hi, I bought a set of braided lines off you a long long time ago for a set of brembo calipers to fit my saxo vtr... Do u no if the braided lines will fit a pug 106 as I am selling them? And if you are still doing them could I get some new bolts and washers for the caliper side of the lines.

    Thanks

Saxo and 106 lines are different length, can't remember which way around it is.
    Think 106 are longer.

Don't think he will reply , but you can get the bolts and washers from eBay cheap enough
